^{SURPRISED? I AM TOO.
I went against my will/beliefs and used DIGITAL ART for this. As dirty as I feel, it was fun. Yes, I found PS to be enjoyable, DON'T. KILL. ME.
(I am aware some bits are gross, but that's because I drew this A5-sized, made it too detailed, scanned it and blew it up.)

BEHOLD.

This is a piece of assessment I did for TAFE (end of May).
The brief was to create a character based off a given list (but I was naughty and added my own) and then write a biography about it, no less than 500 words (obviously I’m not putting the whole thing up here).

Biography

Pronounced: Vay-fox
Species: Fox, Alien and Undead.

The Veifox, is a species often found in any dense forest area, (generally) isolated from society or far away from any civilisation; but can otherwise be found in ruins, as they provide seclusion and shelter.

They can be either male or female. The physical differences are size – females are a little smaller, with longer tails and mane, and also colour alterations (but nothing too major). Females are generally more attractive in colour and in colour combinations (mane colour, and body colour).

Veifox’s have no specific body type, but rather a combination of the three main types. It has medium to long limbs (legs), enabling them to run faster and jump higher; and a long neck. The head is average-sized, but the body is thin and lanky, with slightly out of proportion paws.

Veifox’s are often quiet and calm-natured mammals, and keep to themselves. They often stand tall and proud despite their quiet personality.

The Veifox offers defence in a limited amount of ways. It’s glowing ‘veins’ and bands on its mohawk and tail can expand and form a spherical shield big enough to protect its whole body. Its tail is also sensitive to vibration, allowing it to sense any nearby movement.
A Veifox can use its teeth and claws for offence, and also it’s “extreme” speed.
Food-wise, a Veifox is an omnivore and feeds off almost anything; plants and ground scraps to the flesh and bones of other creatures.

The design for the Veifox was based off that of a fox, an alien and some video game characters and the influence of the “undead” appearance; a simple four-legged mammal, with slight flesh dysfunctions.
A Veifox has exposed flesh, veins and bones, due to the undead traits it possesses; its exposed insides are random and unique, so no two Veifox’s look the same...
